State Farm Donation to Disaster Relief

Sixteen-Year Partnership

The Greater Ozarks Chapter of the American Red Cross is pleased to announce they are the recipient of a $20,000 donation from State Farm Insurance. The check was presented on Sept. 30, 2009 at the chapter office in Springfield to Greg James, Director of Financial Development for the chapter. Mr. James said, “The partnership between State Farm and Red Cross has been tremendous. We’re convinced that many families would not have been helped without State Farm’s steadfast dedication to the unselfish mission of the American Red Cross.”

State Farm Insurance has been a proud supporter of the Greater Ozarks Chapter for 16 years. Half of the proceeds from this contribution will be for disaster relief in the 29 counties the chapter serves and the other half will benefit the new Disaster Operations Center Dome.
