Debi recently returned from helping with the Red Cross Disaster Response in Atlanta. Our Chapter also deployed five Volunteers: three Nurses, a Logistics Manager, and a Computer Networking Expert.
Debi had these initial thoughts upon her return:
What a great opportunity to help so many people devastated by the floods! The partnerships we have here in MO helped me in my position as Community Relations Liaison there.
While I was in Atlanta I was introduced as the CEO of the Chapter that responds to more Level III and larger disasters than any other in the nation! And our volunteers and staff are recognized nationally for how quickly and thoroughly we mount that response!
